PRODUCT INFORMATION MENU: ELECTRIC HEAT AND PACE | THE PACE PRINCIPLE | WORKING WITH THE WEATHER, NOT AGAINST IT | TEMPERATURE BASED CONTROL SYSTEMS | CONVENTIONAL SYSTEM OUTPUT
| PACE SYSTEM OUTPUT | A PACE DAY | YOUR BOTTOM LINE

PACE's weather-based strategy, on the other hand, improves the weather-imposed heat load factor. PACE is programmed for a lower seasonal output of 20% to 25%. This amounts to only 5 or 6 hours per day. PACE can never deliver more heat than the weather-imposed load. And when you design a building with PACE in mind, you need only about half the heating system capacity of a temperature-based system because PACE operates so efficiently. PACE lowers heating wattage and operates fewer total hours which results in a major reduction in total consumption of heat energy. A kilowatt hour is one kilowatt of capacity operating a total of one hour.
