PACE's
weather-based strategy, on the other hand, improves the weather-imposed
heat load factor.
PACE is
programmed for a lower seasonal output of 20% to 25%. This amounts
to
only 5 or 6 hours
per day.
PACE
can never deliver more heat than the weather-imposed load. And when
you design a building with
PACE
in mind, you need
only about half the heating system capacity of a temperature-based
system because
PACE
operates so efficiently.
PACE
lowers heating wattage and operates fewer total hours which results
in a major reduction in total consumption of heat energy. A kilowatt
hour is one kilowatt of capacity operating a total of one hour. |
